"goods vehicle" means- (a) any motor vehicle constructed or adapted for use for the carriage of goods; or (b) any motor vehicle not so constructed or adapted when used for the carriage of goods solely or in addition to passengers, but does not include a private motor car drawing a trailer for purposes unconnected with trade or business;
